How We Get Paid

As a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm, only our clients pay us for the work we do! 



Wealth Management Services

Our Wealth Management Service encompasses asset management as well as providing financial planning/financial consulting to clients.  It is designed to assist clients in meeting their financial goals through the use of financial investments.  We conduct at least one, but sometimes more than one meeting (in person if possible, otherwise via telephone conference) with clients in order to understand their current financial situation, existing resources, financial goals, and tolerance for risk.  Based on what we learn, we propose an investment approach to the client.  We may propose an investment portfolio, consisting of exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, individual stocks or bonds, or other securities.  Upon the client’s agreement to the proposed investment plan, we work with the client to establish or transfer investment accounts so that we can manage the client’s portfolio.  Once the relevant accounts are under our management, we review such accounts on a regular basis and at least quarterly.  We may periodically rebalance or adjust client accounts under our management.  If the client experiences any significant changes to his/her financial or personal circumstances, the client must notify us so that we can consider such information in managing the client’s investments. We also offer investment advisory services through the use of third-party money managers (“Outside Managers” and “Sub-Advisers) for portfolio management services.

Our standard advisory fee is based on the market value of the assets under management and is calculated as follows:

The annual fees are negotiable and are pro-rated and paid in arrears on a monthly basis.


Financial Planning

Option # 1 – Strategy Session

The fee for the Strategy Session is $400.00, for the 60-minute meeting. The fee may be negotiable in certain cases and is due at the completion of the engagement. Should additional time be needed, another session can be scheduled.

Option #2 – Collaborative Planning

Collaborative Planning will be offered on a fixed fee basis.  The fixed fee will be agreed upon before the start of any work. The fixed fee can range between $1,000.00 and $5,000.00. The fee is negotiable. If a fixed fee program is chosen, half of the fee is due at the beginning of the process and the remainder is due at completion of work, however, Williams Wealth Services will not bill an amount above $500.00 more than 6 months in advance. In the event of early termination, the client will be billed for the hours worked at a rate of $400.00 per hour. If the initial deposit is greater than the amount billed, then the client will be refunded the difference. If the initial deposit is less, then the client will be billed the difference.

Option # 3 – On-Going Support

On-going Support consists of an upfront charge of $500.00 and an ongoing fee that is paid monthly, in arrears, at the rate ranging from $100.00 to $1,000.00 per month. The fee may be negotiable in certain cases. Clients will be billed on the first day of the month, for the previous month. Clients may choose to pay by credit card, check or ACH.

This service may be terminated with 15 days’ notice. Since fees are paid in arrears, no rebate will be needed upon termination of the account.
